Overnight Athens
A explore the heart of Athens with a city tour commencing at the Panathenaic Stadium, hosting the inaugural modern Olympic Games in 1896. Pass by iconic landmarks including the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, University, National Library, and Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis, discover the Architectural Marvels of Athens' Golden Age: The Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and culminate the experience with the revered Parthenon - a testament to the seamless blend of material and spirituality, a monument revered for its ability to bring order to the soul.
Overnight Athens
Embark early in the morning, crossing the Corinth Canal before arriving at the renowned Mycenae, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the legendary dwelling of Agamemnon, witness the imposing Cyclopean walls, the revered Lions gate, and the regal tombs. Journey onward to Nafplion, Greece's initial capital in Argolis, a charming town nestled beneath a cliff crowned by the impressive Palamidi Fortress, pausing briefly for exploration. The adventure proceeds with a visit to the ancient Epidaurus theatre, celebrated for its exceptional acoustics. Concluding the day, you'll culminate with an evening visit to Olympia.
Overnight Olympia
Explore Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Discover the archaeological site, including the Temple of Zeus and Hera, the Olympic flame's altar, the Stadium, and the museum showcasing the remarkable Hermes of Praxiteles statue. Later, journey northward, crossing the Rio-Antirio Bridge, to reach Delphi.
Overnight Delphi
Explore the archaeological site of Delphi, renowned in ancient times as the world's center, and visit the Museum housing the famed statue depicting "The Bronze Charioteer." Afterward, head towards Kalambaka, a quaint town nestled at the base of Meteora.
Overnight Kalambaka
Explore Meteora, where numerous monasteries, housing invaluable historical and religious artifacts, perch atop colossal rocks, offering breathtaking vistas. Journey back to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae, pausing briefly at the statue of Leonidas, before reaching the Kammena Vourla area. Arrive in Athens in the evening.
Overnight Athens
After breakfast, our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends before being transferred to the airport for your onward flight.

Across Greece, there are monuments, museums, art galleries, festivals and traditional feasts you can visit and experience during your holidays. The UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Monuments are scattered across the country and they are definitely worth a visit. The most famous of the archaeological sites is the Acropolis of Athens, a hilltop citadel with the most iconic ancient Greek monuments, such as the Parthenon, that has become an enduring symbol of Greek civilization. Ancient Olympia is the site of the original Olympic Games.
Greece is home to numerous museums and art galleries that showcase the best of ancient and modern Greek art & culture. The National Archaeological Museum in Athens is not to be missed as it houses a vast collection of sculptures, pottery, and other artefacts from all over the country. The Athens and Epidaurus Festival welcomes visitors to the country’s ancient theatres and hosts international artists every summer since 1955. The traditional feasts (panigiria) will give you a glimpse of Greek folklore and art; you will be impressed by the colorful costumes, the jeweler and lively dances performed usually on the occasion of religious local feasts. You can join in and dance along!
Accommodation
This is intended to give an idea of the type of accommodation that may be expected. The actual hotels used for any given tour may change due to many reasons such as group size, availability, time of year, hotel standard has dropped or simply we found a better hotel. We update the website immediately if and when any changes take place. If and when we do change hotels it will be to a hotel of equal or higher standard and will be at no extra cost.
Where more than one hotel is shown for a given an overnight stop this means that one of those hotels will be used.
Please Note :
1. Group Size : Minimum Group Size of 1. Maximum Group Size of 50.
2. Age : Minimum Age of 8. Whilst there is no Maximum Age set it is assumed the customer is fit enough to take part in the activity or tour. Health documents may be requested.
3. Single Travellers are obliged to pay Single Supplement and will have the hotel room to themselves.
4. In Greece the Hellenic National Tourism Organization has decided on a residence fee to be applied on hotel accommodation from 01/01/2018. The fees applied will be EUR 1.50 for 3* hotels, EUR 3.00 for 4* hotels and EUR 4.00 for 5* hotels, per room, per night and are not included in the tour price. This tax must be paid by the guests directly to the hotel before the end of the stay.
5. Tours in Greece are in English as well as either French and Italian
6. Meteora Dress Code: The monasteries have a strict dress code. To enter the monasteries of Meteora you have to adhere to the following rules: Women will need to wear a long skirt, dress or sarong, it's not enough to keep the knees covered, so no trousers or shorts. Men must wear long pants. Sleeveless shirts are not allowed. Please make sure to have appropriate clothing before visiting the monasteries.
7. Child Discount: Age 8 - 10 sharing room with 2 full paying adults 30% and child will have a fold up bed.
8. Child Discount: Age 0 - 2 sharing room, free and the child will not have its own bed.
