The Blue Voyage Trips Small Ship concept redefines the cruising experience by presenting an intimate atmosphere aboard our luxurious motor sailers and mega yachts. Our mission for years has been to make you feel as though you are enjoying your valuable vacation days on a close friend's private yacht. This is far from a conventional cruise. We have meticulously arranged everything within our ability to ensure a safe, cozy, and delightful time on board. Our unique approach merges a cruise adventure with abundant leisure time at each port, including overnight stays, allowing guests to delve into the culinary delights, rich culture, and engage with the local populace. Moreover, our small ships possess the ability to access the essence of each destination, reaching areas that larger cruise liners cannot. Our itinerary experts, with over fifty years of experience, have handpicked the finest ports of call to guarantee that you explore renowned destinations as well as hidden gems, immersing yourself in local traditions as genuine travelers, not mere tourists.

On the Variety Cruises vessels, there are no recreational amenities catered for children, and bookings for youngsters below five years are not permitted. Therefore, it is important to recognize that minors on board are entirely the responsibility of their guardians.

All our small ship journeys warmly welcome individuals from all walks of life, regardless of their backgrounds. We champion diversity and are deeply committed to celebrating the rich variety of our team, guests, and the communities we engage with. Every one of our vessels embraces LGBTQIA+ friendliness, and our crew members undergo comprehensive LGBTQIA+ training to honor all gender identities. We take an active role in advocating for enhanced rights for the LGBTQIA+ community and work towards closing the gender gap in the workforce as part of our initiative with VARIETY CARES. As we sail across the globe, we aspire to explore regions that uphold LGBTQIA+ inclusivity, but in locales where cultural customs or regulations may not align with our values, we will provide guidance on local traditions and safety considerations, asking our guests to approach these matters with caution. We identify a destination as LGBTQIA+ friendly when a physical or online LGBTQIA+ resource center exists for visitor access. For LGBTQIA+ themed voyages, affectionately referred to as our straight welcoming cruises, where inclusivity is paramount in every direction, please explore our LIMITED COLLECTION segment.

Passengers are kindly advised to board at least 2 hours before scheduled departure. Disembarkation will occur after breakfast, approximately at 9am. Please be aware that sailing times can be found in the Daily Program, and adherence to the specified "ALL ABOARD" time, also noted on the Notice Board, is mandatory. Should you fail to be onboard by the designated time, it will be your own responsibility if the ship departs without you. The "all aboard" deadline is 15 minutes prior to the departure of the vessel. Embarkation points for all cruises are as follows: All Greece cruises: Plateia Alexandras outside the Olympiacos FOC headquarters, the nearest street address is Akti Kountouriotou 1. In the absence of a designated package being acquired, transfers to and from the vessel, excursions on shore, alcoholic beverages, phone communications, tips for services, laundry amenities and personal items are excluded and can be purchased during the journey or incur an extra fee. Selected vessels feature a boutique on board. All charges incurred on board are billed in Euros, although payments in USD and via card are accepted (note that American Express is not an option).

Tips are not factored into our pricing and are left to our guests discretion. For guidance, satisfied patrons typically leave an amount between Euro 15-18 per person, daily. These gratuities are divided among all crew members. Guests may opt to modify the gratuity amount to reflect their personal experience.

The majority of shore excursions are not encompassed in the cruise fares (please verify the cruise description) and are offered according to the cruise timetable/ports of call visited. Information is available in your cabin and is also provided daily by the on board Cruise Coordinator. Shore excursions are contingent upon shore and weather conditions and rely on a minimum participation level.

Aboard our intimate vessels you will discover sophisticated dining areas, expansive sun terraces and cozy lounges. No swimming pools are available as it is typical for our guests to enjoy swimming directly from our ships or for travelers to access pristine beaches via tender. Your cruise itinerary consists of breakfast along with either lunch or dinner or includes all meals. Dining is provided at designated times with flexible seating options. Limited laundry services are provided at an additional fee on our smaller ships. Shore excursions can be arranged at an extra charge. The M/Y Pegasos and the M/Y Variety Voyager feature a compact wellness area offering massages and various beauty treatments. Recreational activities include swimming from the ships, snorkeling, kayaking and canoeing. In select locations, diving trips can also be arranged.

Our vessels are equipped with fins, masks, snorkels, and kayaks that can be utilized during swim breaks. Additionally, there is a modest library available for borrowing along with a selection of board games and playing cards for entertainment. Movies are regularly screened in the Lounges of the boats, so be sure to refer to the Daily Program for the schedule of showings.
