Onboard & Cabin Information – Montenegro Gulet Cruise
Are hairdryers available onboard?
Yes. Each cabin on our Montenegro Gulet Cruise includes a hairdryer for your convenience.
Are there power points onboard?
Yes. European 2-pin power sockets are available onboard. You can use them for charging phones, cameras, and hairdryers. Power points are generally located in the cabins and main salon area (location may vary depending on the gulet).
What are the cabin arrangements?
Cabins on our Montenegro Cruises are based on twin-share accommodation (either two single beds or one double bed). If you prefer a specific cabin type, please inform us at the time of booking. Cabin allocation is finalized one week before departure and depends on each gulet’s configuration. Requests are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is there engine or generator noise onboard?
Yes. As with all small ship and gulet holidays, engine and generator noise is normal, especially in cabins closer to the engine room. We recommend bringing earplugs for added comfort.
Is Wi-Fi available onboard?
Wi-Fi is available on most Montenegro Sailing Cruises. However, it may be limited due to download restrictions and may not be accessible while sailing.
Are there luggage restrictions onboard?
We recommend bringing medium-sized soft luggage. Storage space in cabins is limited, making soft suitcases more practical for Montenegro Gulet Holidays.
Do I need to bring towels?
No. Bath towels and beach towels are provided onboard your Blue Voyage Montenegro cruise.
Are toiletries provided?
Yes. A welcome toiletries set including shampoo, shower gel, and soap is provided in each cabin.
Can I bring food and drinks onboard?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted onboard, except for specific dietary requirements. Each gulet has a fully stocked bar, and all beverages consumed onboard must be purchased there. Drinking water is available during salon opening hours.
How do I buy drinks onboard?
All drinks and optional onboard dinners are added to your bar tab. The total amount is payable in cash (Euros) at the end of your Montenegro Cruise.
Do you accept card payments onboard?
We recommend bringing sufficient cash in Euros. Bar tabs, optional dinners, and excursions must be paid in cash before check-out. ATMs are available at most ports.
I am vegetarian or have special dietary requirements. Can you accommodate me?
Our menus typically include soup or pasta starters, meat or fish main courses, vegetables, salads, and dessert or fruit. Vegetarian guests will be served larger portions of vegetables and salads.
If you have allergies or specific dietary requirements, please inform us at the time of booking. We recommend introducing yourself to the cook or waiter at check-in to discuss your needs directly.
Are there any extra costs?
For the Pearl of the Adriatic Cruise, a local payment of 120 Euros per person is required onboard. This covers:
Port fees, Tourist taxes, Marina charges. This amount is subject to change.
What currency is used in Montenegro?
The official currency of Montenegro is the Euro (€). All onboard payments for Montenegro Cruises are made in Euros.

Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. We recommend contacting your local embassy for up-to-date information. If required, Blue Voyage Trips can provide an official cruise confirmation letter to support your visa application.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before your Montenegro Gulet Cruise.
How do I get to Montenegro?
There are three main airports serving Montenegro:
Tivat Airport – 10 minutes from Porto Montenegro Marina
Podgorica Airport – approx. 1.5 hours
Dubrovnik Airport (Croatia) – approx. 1.5–2 hours
When booking flights for your Montenegro Cruise, we recommend choosing Tivat Airport for convenience.
How do I find my transfer at the airport?
Your driver will meet you at arrivals holding a sign with your name. If you have difficulty locating your driver, please contact our representatives.
How do I find my gulet in Tivat?
If your Montenegro Cruise departs from Tivat, your gulet will be located at:
Porto Montenegro Marina – Jetty 1, Dock F
Look for your boat’s name. Our Blue Voyage Trips representatives will be there to welcome you.
What happens if I miss the gulet’s departure time?
Please contact our Operations Team immediately. In most cases, it is possible to catch up with the boat at the next port by taxi or bus. We will advise you on the fastest and most practical option.
Do you sail every day?
Our gulets are motor-sailors and primarily cruise using the engine. However, they are fully equipped for sailing, and when weather conditions allow, your Montenegro Sailing Cruise may include time under sail.
How many people are onboard and what is their nationality?
Our Montenegro Gulet Cruises typically accommodate 12–16 guests, depending on the gulet type.
Guests are mainly English-speaking, German-speaking, and French-speaking travelers. For specific departure dates, please contact our reservations team.
