The Blue Voyage small ship experience stands apart by providing an intimate atmosphere aboard our luxurious motor sailers and mega yachts. For many years, we have been dedicated to making our guests feel as if they are enjoying their cherished vacations aboard a close friend’s yacht. This journey is distinctly different from an ordinary cruise. We guarantee that every element within our power has been implemented to ensure a safe, comfortable, and pleasurable stay onboard. We blend the traditional cruise experience with generous leisure time in each port, including overnight stays, encouraging our guests to delve into the local culinary delights, culture, and engage with the community. Additionally, the compact size of our ships allows us to access the core of each destination, reaching areas that larger cruise ships cannot. We have meticulously chosen the finest ports of call on your journey, thanks to our team of experts who have crafted itineraries for over 20 years to ensure you discover not only renowned destinations but also hidden gems, immersing you in local customs and traditions as true travelers rather than mere tourists.

On the Blue Voyage Small Ship Cruises vessels, there exist no amenities designed for children's entertainment, and bookings for guests under five years old are not permitted. With this in mind, it is important to understand that children present onboard remain the complete responsibility of their parents.

Our small ship cruises warmly welcome individuals from all walks of life, regardless of their backgrounds. We are committed to embracing diversity and take pride in the rich tapestry of backgrounds represented among our team, guests, and the communities we explore. Every vessel in our fleet is supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community, with crew members undertaking specialized training to respect all gender identities. We actively engage in efforts to enhance the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community and work towards closing the gender gap in the workplace through our initiative known as VARIETY CARES. As we sail across various global destinations, we strive to select ports that are known for their LGBTQIA+ friendliness. However, in regions where societal norms may not be as welcoming, we ensure that our guests are informed about the local customs and any safety considerations, and we advise them to navigate these situations responsibly. We determine a destination's LGBTQIA+ safety by the presence of physical or digital LGBTQIA+ resource centers for our guests to utilize. For our LGBTQIA+ themed sailings, affectionately referred to as our “straight friendly” cruises, we celebrate inclusivity from every angle.

Passengers are kindly requested to ensure they are on board at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure. Disembarkation will occur after breakfast, around 9am. It is important to note that sailing times can be found in the Daily Program, and adherence to the listed "ALL ABOARD" time, also visible on the Notice Board, is mandatory. Failure to board by this designated time will result in personal responsibility for any missed connections. The "all aboard" time is set at 15 minutes prior to the departure of the vessel. Embarkation points for all cruises are as follows: All Greece cruises: Plateia Alexandras (located outside the Olympiacos FOC headquarters, nearest street address: Akti Kountouriotou 1) Seychelles: Mahe (Inter Island Quay): Victoria port Praslin: Eve Island Tahiti & French Polynesia: Cruise ships Terminal / Papeete dock ES 3 Cape Verde: Palmeira Port, Sal Egypt, Jordan and Israel: Aqaba, Jordan: Aqaba old port, berth 7 Tel Aviv, Israel: Ashdod port West Africa: Dakar, Senegal: Dakar Main Port, Mole 1, Pier 12-16 Banjul, The Gambia: Banjul Main Port, Liberation Avenue, New Jetty

Unless a specific package has been acquired, transfers to and from the vessel, shore excursions, wine, alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, tips, laundry service and personal items are not included and may be procured during the journey or are at an additional charge. A boutique is available on board select vessels. All charges on board are in Euros, although USD and card payments are also accepted (American Express is not valid).

Tips are not included in our prices and are left to our guests’ discretion. As a guideline, satisfied patrons typically leave between Euro 15-18 per person, per day. These gratuities are shared among all crew members. Guests may choose to modify the tip amount based on their satisfaction level.

The majority of shore excursions are excluded from the small ship cruise fares (please verify the cruise description) and are offered based on the cruise schedule as well as the ports of call visited. Information is accessible in your cabin and is also provided daily by the onboard Cruise Coordinator. Shore excursions are dependent on shore and weather conditions and require a minimum level of participation.

Onboard our intimate vessels, you will discover exquisite dining areas, ample sun decks, and cozy lounges. Swimming pools are not available as our guests often take refreshing swims directly off the ships or access hidden beaches via tender. Your cruising itinerary includes either breakfast along with lunch or dinner, or all meals included. Dining is scheduled at designated times, allowing for flexible seating arrangements. Limited laundry services can be availed for a fee on our small ships. Shore excursions can be arranged at an additional cost. Both the M/Y Pegasos and the M/Y Variety Voyager feature a modest wellness suite offering massages and various beauty treatments. For those seeking adventure, activities such as swimming from the ships, snorkeling, kayaking, and canoeing are available. In select locations, diving excursions can also be organized.

Onboard the majority of our vessels, you will find fins, masks, snorkels, and kayaks available for enjoyment during swim stops. Additionally, there is a small library for borrowing along with a selection of board games and playing cards to keep you entertained. Movies are frequently screened in the lounges of the boats, so be sure to check the Daily Program for the schedule.
