Cleopatra’s Bath (Sunken Bath) & Tersane Island
Today your Blue Cruise in Turkey continues as we sail into the breathtaking Gulf of Fethiye, one of the most scenic highlights of the Turkish Riviera.
Our first stop is the legendary Cleopatra’s Bath (Sunken Bath), a must-see destination on any Fethiye yacht cruise itinerary. According to local legend, this ancient Roman bath was built especially for Queen Cleopatra. Beneath the crystal-clear turquoise waters, you can spot the fascinating ruins of a Byzantine monastery, creating a magical atmosphere where history and nature meet. Enjoy swimming among submerged ancient stones and relaxing in this unique historical bay.
After lunch onboard, we cruise to Tersane Island, the largest island in the Gulf of Fethiye. Once home to Greek settlers and an important Ottoman shipyard, the island is rich in cultural heritage. Explore the ruins of old stone houses, watchtowers, and the historic dockyard that gave the island its name (“Tersane” meaning shipyard in Turkish). Dinner and overnight stay in the peaceful bay of Tersane Island, surrounded by unspoiled nature and calm Mediterranean waters — a perfect evening under the stars on your luxury gulet cruise in Turkey.
Red Island & Fethiye – Discover the Heart of the Turkish Riviera
In the early morning, your Turkey Blue Cruise continues towards Fethiye, one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Turkish Riviera and the largest district of Muğla province. With a history dating back to ancient Lycian times, Fethiye blends archaeological heritage, natural beauty, and vibrant local culture.
Guests have the opportunity to join an optional Fethiye Safari Tour, exploring some of the region’s most spectacular natural attractions. This full-day excursion typically includes Yakapark, famous for its natural spring waters; Gizlikent Waterfall, a hidden paradise surrounded by lush greenery; and the breathtaking Saklıkent Canyon, one of the longest and most impressive canyons in Turkey.
If you prefer a more relaxed day, you can visit Fethiye’s traditional Tuesday Bazaar, one of the largest local markets in the area. Here, you can browse colorful stalls offering fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, textiles, and handmade goods while experiencing authentic Turkish local life.
Guests who wish to stay onboard can enjoy lunch and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Samanlık Bay, a peaceful spot perfect for relaxation during your gulet cruise in Fethiye.
In the afternoon, we return to Fethiye Harbour for dinner and overnight stay. You may take an evening stroll along the lively seaside promenade, explore the charming town center, or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this beloved Mediterranean coastal town.
After breakfast, we head to Göcek Islands. While navigating these stunning natural wonders, we anchor at Yassıca Islands within the gulf. This place is a natural conservation area surrounded by pine and olive trees, with its exceptional shoreline. Lunch is served in these beautiful mini-archipelagos. We recommend trying activities like swimming and diving in these crystal-clear waters.
For the evening and dinner, we set our course for Göcek Island, famous for making Göcek port so renowned. Göcek Island is one of the most famous islands in the region and offers numerous options for an unforgettable evening. Dinner is served on the boat.
After breakfast, we reach a stunning cove named after one of the prominent figures in the Blue Cruise culture, painter and poet Bedri Rahmi. Originally known as Taşyaka, this cove started being referred to as Bedri Rahmi Cove after the famous painter and poet Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu visited the beautiful area in 1974 and created his famous fish-shaped artwork on a rock.
Later, we set our course for Sarsala Bay. The Sarsala pier was built for grain shipments from the Dalaman and Ortaca plains to Egypt in its time. The remnants of the old pier and customs building can still be observed.
After lunch, we arrive at Port of Aga. You can reach the ancient city of Lydai (Khydai/Klydai) within 30-40 minutes by following a path starting from the beach. The night is spent in this charming port, and dinner is served onboard.
After breakfast, we head towards Kumlubük Bay. Near Kumlubük Beach, there's a cave adorned entirely by nature with stalactites, stalagmites, and galleries. Besides this cave, you can explore Amos, an ancient city, and Hisarburnu, located very close to Kumlubük Beach. Lunch is served here, and you can take a swim break to cool off.
We anchor at Paradise Island for afternoon tea. Paradise Island's Nimara Cave was used by people from the Paleolithic era to the Bronze Age and is definitely worth a visit. This is the last stop where you can have a swim.
At the end of the day, we return to Marmaris Harbor around 16:00. Guests who wish to do can explore Marmaris and enjoy its nightlife. Dinner will not be served on the boat this evening.
