What to Bring?

Travel light with soft luggage that can easily slide under the bed, as cabin storage is at a premium. We recommend packing casual clothing such as shorts, t-shirts, swim attire, and an additional layer for cooler evenings. Also remember to bring walking shoes, beach sandals, a hat, sunscreen, and mosquito spray. When visiting religious sites in Greece, modest clothing is mandatory—women should opt for skirts or dresses instead of pants or shorts, and sleeveless tops or swim gear are prohibited. Towels and bed linens will be supplied on board.

Day 1: Naples

Day 1: Arrival in Naples, Italy

Your journey begins in Naples at 14:00 in one of Italy's most vibrant and historic cities. Known as the birthplace of pizza, Naples is a city rich in culture, history, and stunning coastal views. Arrive at the port and board the Variety Voyager, where you'll settle into your luxurious cabin before a welcome dinner with your fellow travelers. Take in the panoramic views of the Bay of Naples and get ready for an unforgettable adventure.

Day 2: Capri

Day 2: Capri Island, Italy

Wake up to the breathtaking scenery of Capri, a world-famous island known for its stunning cliffs, luxury boutiques, and the Blue Grotto—a mesmerizing sea cave illuminated by a natural light phenomenon. Enjoy a guided tour of the island, including Villa San Michele, the Augustus Gardens, and Marina Grande. Spend the afternoon exploring Capri at your leisure before returning to the ship for a gourmet Mediterranean dinner. But before dinner, participate in one of our most popular onboard events: the Cocktail Demonstration. Led by our skilled Bar Manager, this hour-long session features the creation of two signature cocktails, complete with recipes to recreate at home!

Day 3: Lipari

After a wonderful breakfast, our vessel moors at Lipari, the largest treasure of the Aeolian Islands. Renowned for its rich legends and breathtaking vistas, Lipari is utterly captivating. Join our optional half-day Lipari excursion, commencing from the dock. A scenic bus journey takes us to Quattrocchi for sweeping views, then onward to Quattropani featuring its charming church and sights of Salina. We proceed to a Spanish-constructed castle, currently serving as a cathedral and museum displaying artifacts from prehistoric and ancient Greek and Roman periods. Following the tour, relish some free time in the village for lunch on your own. The afternoon is yours for personal exploration and unwinding. Dinner awaits you upon your return to the ship! 

Day 4: Taormina

In the morning, we arrive at the stunning shores of Taormina. Join our optional tour to wander through its picturesque narrow streets, the historic Palazzo Corvaja from the fifteenth century, and marvel at the extraordinary Greek amphitheater known for its outstanding acoustics. Take a leisurely stroll along Corso Umberto, a vibrant pedestrian avenue filled with upscale shops, often regarded as the "Sicilian Saint Tropez." Lunchtime is at your convenience, offering moments for personal discovery and delightful cuisine. At 7:30 PM, partake in our included Wine Tasting Experience, showcasing a variety of Italian and Greek wines, preceding our four-course dinner aboard. Return to the ship for dinner as we anchor for the evening, enveloped by the enchanting allure of Taormina. 

Day 5: Catania

Your journey commences in the enchanting Taormina in the early morning, making your way to Catania. After a satisfying breakfast, partake in our optional full-day adventure to Mount Etna. Traverse through varied landscapes, ranging from lively towns to fragrant citrus orchards, lovely vineyards, and ancient lava fields. Discover the area's volcanic heritage and local legends while visiting charming villages. Reach an elevation of 2000 meters to wander around the Silvestri craters or indulge in delightful local treats such as honey. The tour culminates at a distinguished winery nestled on Mount Etna's slopes, where you will taste exquisite wines and relish Sicily's abundant flavors. 

Day 6: Syracuse

Upon our early morning arrival in Syracuse, discover the charming "White City" after a delightful breakfast. Choose our guided tour to explore Syracuse's profound history and cultural gems. Lunch is yours to enjoy, allowing you to experience local flavors at your leisure. The afternoon is open for your enjoyment, whether strolling through picturesque streets, relaxing by the sea, or uncovering Syracuse's intriguing past. Before dinner, our chef will reveal the recipe for Pesto a la Trapanese, a wonderful addition to your future gatherings. This evening, indulge in our Captain’s Italian Night Dinner featuring exquisite dishes and music. Around midnight, we will say farewell to Syracuse and set sail for the captivating shores of Gozo Island. 

Day 7: Gozo

The morning unveils our captivating arrival at Gozo Island, cherished for its magnificent Ggantija temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site established 5500 years ago. Revel in a refreshing swim in Malta's tranquil waters before reaching Gozo by noon. Here, discover the island's hidden gems and arrange for a leisurely lunch. For transfers to the airport or hotel, our Cruise Manager is on hand to assist; kindly provide your desired transfer time at least 24 hours prior. In the afternoon, we say goodbye to Gozo and set sail for Valletta, Malta's splendid capital. Relish a scrumptious dinner served onboard as we navigate through calm waters.

Day 8: Valetta
