Need to Know

Important Information:

  1. Group Requirements: Our tours accommodate a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 50 individuals.
  2. Age Restrictions: Participants must be at least 8 years old. While there is no upper age limit, it is expected that individuals can physically engage in the tour activities. Health documentation may be requested if needed.
  3. Single Travelers: Individuals traveling alone must pay a Single Supplement and will enjoy exclusive use of their hotel room.
  4. Accommodation Tax in Greece: The Hellenic National Tourism Organization has implemented a Crisis Resilience tax applicable to hotel stays starting from January 1, 2018. Charges are €5 for 3-star hotels, €10 for 4-star hotels, and €15 for 5-star hotels, per room, per night. Guests are responsible for settling this tax directly with the hotel prior to departure.
  5. Language of Tours: Tours conducted in Greece will be offered in English, as well as either French or Italian.
  6. Meteora Attire Regulations: The monasteries of Meteora enforce strict dress guidelines. Women must wear long skirts, dresses, or sarongs; trousers and shorts are not permissible. Men are required to wear long trousers. Sleeveless tops are prohibited. Ensure you have suitable attire when planning your visit to the monasteries.
  7. Child Discount for Ages 8 - 10: Children ages 8 to 10 sharing accommodations with two paying adults will receive a 30% discount and will be provided with a foldable bed.
  8. Child Discount for Ages 0 - 2: Children aged 0 to 2 sharing accommodations do not incur a charge and will not be provided with a bed.
  9. Activity Level: This tour is classified as Moderate, indicating it requires some walking, navigating stairs, and longer travel durations, making it suitable for those with a fair level of fitness.
  10. Accommodation Options in Athens: You will stay at one of the following established hotels: Athenaeum Grand Hotel, Golden Age Hotel, President Hotel, Parthenon Hotel, or Kydon Hotel, or a similar establishment based on availability. We assure you that all lodging will meet 4-star standards.
  11. Conservation Contribution: By participating in our tours, you are aiding injured sea turtles. For every reservation exceeding USD 1,000, we contribute to the ongoing care and nourishment of injured sea turtles, particularly Caretta caretta (loggerhead turtles). Discover more on our Responsible Travel page
What to Bring?

Spring & Autumn: Light layers are ideal, paired with a jacket and comfortable footwear for walking.

Summer: Opt for airy and breathable clothing, complemented by a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for sun protection.

Winter: Prepare with warm attire, especially in Eastern Turkey (Kars, Van, etc.) where temperatures may be quite low.

While visiting churches and mosques, it is essential to dress modestly. Women should wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees, while men should refrain from wearing shorts that are above the knee.

Day 2: Athens

Historical City Journey

Discovery tour highlighting the Panathenaic Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Syntagma Square, and the impressive Acropolis alongside the Parthenon.

Day 3 : Delphi & Kalambaka

Delphi & Kalambaka Journey

Travel through Thebes and Arachova on the way to Delphi. Discover the Sanctuary of Apollo and the Treasury of the Athenians. Proceed onward to Kalambaka.

Day 4: Meteora & Athens

Meteora and Journey Back to Athens

Explore the breathtaking cliffside monasteries of Meteora. Head back to Athens through Thermopylae.

Day 5: Athens

Goodbye

Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
